The Colorado Emerald Society (CES) is modeled after the original Police & Fire Emerald Societies of New York but is inclusive of all public safety personnel (local & federal) of Irish ancestry. The CES has a Pipes & Drums band, all of whom are very dedicated and excellent musicians. The Society has been in existence since 2000 and participates in the annual Denver's St. Patrick's Day Parade as well as Irish Festival in July.
